This collection of items is intended to evoke the tangible comfort accompanying small, routine moments at home—pouring tea from a teapot, placing a single stem into a small vase, and refilling a companion’s cup. The neutral colors and simple forms are a nod to the soft light of slow mornings and unhurried evenings.
Side-handled teapots, like the ones here, are commonly used for making quick-brewing green tea in Japan, but provide an ergonomic experience for brewing single servings of any loose-leaf tea. When pouring, the handle is grasped with the right hand and the thumb rests on the lid, holding it in place.
